Dear Mr. Goldstein,

Dr. G. and I thank you once again for helping us take care of our son.  Hopefully he will learn something from this experience, but time of course will tell.

Thank you again,

Dr. & Mrs. G

Dear Mr. Goldstein,

Thank you for everything you did with helping me obtain a Georgia Real Estate License.  I am very fortunate to have a real estate license with a felony conviction on my record.  This would not have happened if it had not been for you.

Your knowledge of the Georgia Professional Licensing Board and Georgia Administrative Law Rules and Procedures were an exceptional asset to me and my situation.

I sincerely appreciate the professionalism and patience you displayed to me throughout the hearing process.  All three witnesses in my case were impressed with your work.  Your kindness will not be forgotten.  Thank you again.

Mr. Goldstein,

I will forever be grateful for all of your work on my case.  When the Real Estate Commission rejected my preliminary decision packet for my previous "First Time Offender" offense I thought I would never escape my past and move on toward a better future.  After all the initial hoops I was forced to jump through it was a blessing having you step in and relinquish that stress from my life.  Thank you so much for your extensive knowledge, honesty, and integrity while getting me through one of the toughest ordeals in my life.  I now have great confidence in my future knowing that I have received a license from the state and I can now move forward to greater accomplishments. If I am ever in a situation where I need advice or representation you better believe your number is the first on my list!

Please keep up the incredible work and thanks once again for helping me get my second chance, I couldn't have done it without you.

- J.M.A

To Whom it May Concern / Specifically State Employees:

This is a totally unsolicited letter to advise you that if you need an attorney regarding problems with your employment with the State of Georgia such as retaliation for filing grievance, termination or disciplinary action that you feel / know was not in good faith, or most any other type of adverse action against you then I would recommend Mr. Mel Goldstein. My only mistake was not retaining him earlier in the process and wasting money on an attorney in my area who had very limited experience in "dealings" with the state. Mr. Goldstein can tell you his qualifications and having "checked" around, I can only assure you that his legal rates are about the same as the attorneys that have little experience in this legal area. I was an employee for the State Department of Corrections for 29 years (6 months) credit and with 26 1/2 actual years in the same office as office manager. I am not receiving any fees or consideration whatsoever for making referrals etc. to Mr. Goldstein. I would just not like to see any employee not receive the protection given by law and policies of the different state agencies. As you may well know since 1996 most employees have been hired in an unclassified capacity (at pleasure of the agency); however, there are still some rights that you have. Those hired before 1996 are in a classified position and you are still protected by the state merit system. If for any reason you would like to check into my background feel free to do so. I was the manager of the Calhoun Probation Office from January, 1975 until March, 2000 when I was transferred to our main office in Cartersville until I was dismissed 9/1/00. Fortunately, I had planned to retire with 30 years credit (3/01) anyway. You can ask any Chief in Ga. (or one that has retired in recent years) especially outside of Atlanta, which only merged with the state in the late 80s or early 90s about me or call any Chief in the state, but especially Chiefs or P.O 111s or Parole Chiefs in Northwest Ga. Rome, Dalton, Lafayette, Cedartown, Newman, Carrollton, etc. or any Probation Officer who has been employed for more than 10 years as to my honesty or character and then feel free to call me if you like at ___-___-____ if you have any questions. I was very satisfied with the resolution that Mr. Goldstein made with the state on my behalf the morning of the hearing when I had numerous witnesses on my behalf. Had I officially retained him earlier, Mr. Goldstein would have gotten the same "resolution" much sooner and no hearing would ever have had to have been set up and my legal fees would have been less.

Sincerely (and good luck)
R.J. 3/3/01

Mr. Goldstein,

Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did of representing me in front of the State of Georgia Administrative Hearing Judge. I would not have been better represented had Perry Mason and Ben Matlock been with me. I was very impressed with your knowledge of the administrative hearing process. It was apparent to me that you had spent a lot of time preparing for this hearing. You showed much skill and expertise in the court room and your many years of experience most assuredly was shown.

I now have my Ga. Real estate license and am on my way to providing a better life for my family thanks to your hard work and your dedication to me, your client. You and your services are worth every penny of your fee.

Thanks again and in 3 years when I apply for my broker's license, if I need an attorney, you will be the one I call!!!

Thanks,
G.H.M.

Dear Mr. Goldstein,

I deeply appreciate your interest in L. and his return to medical practice. I know that you are going to do all that you can to get him back and I thank you for it.

If there is anything I can do or you need me to do, please let me know.

L.'s mother is grateful to you also.

May God Bless You and Yours,
P.H.

Dear Judge Goldstein,

Merely saying "Thank You" seems woefully inadequate in view of the positive life changes afforded me by your courageous decisions.

As you are well aware, I fought long and hard for the true facts of my case to be publicly brought forth.

I am grateful to you for the patience you exhibited during the hearings, your very perceptive questions, and the deep personal honor you displayed in your decisions.

May you always be remembered as among the righteous.

With deepest gratitude,
S.H.

Dear Mr. Goldstein,

We continue to thank you for your kindness.

Please continue to do what you can to get L.'s license restored. He needs this so much.

Again, Thanks so much.

Sincerely,
P.H.

Dear Melvin,

Thank you for the advice and help with our financial dilemma. J. and I were both at a low point and didn't know which way to turn. Your referral was exactly what we needed. We appreciate your seeing us so quickly and I am not exaggerating when I say you restored our faith in the decency of humankind.

Thanks again,
Sincerely. V.S. & J.K.

Mel,

I feel like I owe you a debt that I can never fully repay. I appreciate what you did for me in the Appeals Court every day. Since it's "legal" now, I hope to buy you a drink after work one day in the not-too-distant future.

All the best to you and yours,
R.
